The Walworth State Bank was organized in the parlor of the Wayside Hotel on August 17, 1903.  Here are some interesting facts from those early days:

  •
First Commercial Deposit                       $940.54
  •
First Certificate of Deposit                       $10.00
  •

My, how things have changed!!

In 1927, the bank moved into a location on the town square, on the corner of Kenosha and Main Streets, where it remained until 1970, when it moved to its current location at 105 N Hwy 67.  In 1980 a branch office was built on the corner of Hwy 50 and South Shore Drive in Delavan Inlet, in 2001 a second branch office was opened at 121 Walworth Avenue in Williams Bay, and in 2008 a third branch was opened at 190 E Geneva Street in Elkhorn.
